I've been trying to get back in contact with old friends... to no avail. It seems like after a few conversations, we die out again. Is it mutual dissatisfaction with each other, making us destined to be nothing but acquaintances? Or am I just not taking the hint when about five unrelated people reject me? I'm sad because I'm coming to the realization that I mean nothing to people I genuinely love and care about. I miss my friends.

It's been almost a year since I produced any real writing other than Elixer-- but that doesn't really count, since it was a class project. I've been working tirelessly on my conworld. To be totally honest, I love how it's turning out; the elements in it work so well together, but ultimately, writing in it is extraordinarily fun. I've decided that it's just too complex for a traditional RPG, so I may use it as a collaborative writing tool for close friends or just keep it around for personal interest. Honestly, though?
